From the Bench Head buoy proceed to the Nass beacon. The Mersea quarters are reached from the Naas by a well marked channel. Please stay in the channel as at certain states of the tide outside the channel is very shallow. As the buoyed channel finishes, we recommend at all states of the tide you follow the lines of moorings as this clearly indicates where the deep water is.
Moorings are usually available for visitors for an over night stay, we do not however have dedicated visitor moorings.
As you reach the first of the moored boats coming from the Nass beacon, contact our launchman on Marina Channel 37 (M), the call sign is YC1 (Pronounced Why see one) . They will direct you to an available mooring. The launch service is available to visiting yachtsmen and a small charge is made per trip. Launch Timetable 2020
Please note that we do not have any fuelling facilities waterside at West Mersea. Should you require Diesel or Petrol, this is available at the garage in the high street by cans only.
Enjoy your stay.
