Members “Tales of the Sea”
Welcome to our new section. Suggested by Richard Matthews as a diversion from the current situation, we are going to publish Members tales of their sailing or seafaring adventures. Hopefully we can provide some entertainment until we are able to get back out there!
Richard has kicked things off with this tale from Paul Harrison written by his father John about an an Atlantic crossing. Richard says this is, in his opinion even years later, a standout read. You can download it -see the link opposite. We hope you enjoy it and are encouraged to submit your own, preferably in pdf format.
Update 5th May: Paul Harrison has kindly sent in two articles describing their visits in Merganser in the Hebrides in both 2018 and 2019, download the articles opposite. Paul says an abbreviated version appeared in the Molliette, these are the unabridged versions.
Update 3rd June: Paul has sent a further tale in written by his father, John. Its a great read! Download link opposite.
